The purpose of the Missions Ministry is to promote and encourage the support of Foreign and local Missionaries. This ministry will also develop local Christians into Missionaries. Part of the functions of the Missions Ministry will be Evangelism, Discipleship, and church planting.

In the book of Exodus Chapter 3 God came down from heaven and spoke to Moses, sharing with him that He (God) had seen, heard, know and has come to deliver the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, and will bring them to a good and large land flowing with milk and honey. Moses was given the opportunity to join God in His work.

If you live in the United States and own any of these item: CAR, HOME, FURNITURE, TELEVISION, DVD, VCR, PAY RENT, Etc. you are considered rich by world standards. Therefore, I believe God is saying to us that we are to share our Milk and Honey with the children of Nigeria, by joining Him in His work through Living Hope Christian Ministries (LHCM)’s Sponsor-A-Child program. Think about it Egypt (Africa) Nigeria (Africa), God is still at work in Africa and you are invited to be apart of this great thing he is doing.

Orphan children don’t have parents; therefore they should have special treatment. In other words, by caring for the orphans we are imitating God himself. Who gave us the Old Testament example in the book of Ruth, where the owners of the fields were required to have the reapers leave grain behind for the poor to glean?

I find myself constantly thinking what can I do to make a difference in the life of a child? I think I know why I never had children of my own, it make sense. How could God use me (all of my heart) in the area of missions to Children! Day and night I find myself thinking about the children of Africa.

My little girl’s name is Miracle; I can’t stop thinking of her, when I am in the store I think about what she might need. I already have a beautiful blue dress that I know she is going to love. Peanuts—wonder if she likes peanuts.

Vitamins— I will definitely take her Flintstone vitamins. Chocolate is a must, every girl loves chocolate. One of the greatest needs of the children in Nigeria is vitamins. So please donate children’s vitamins.
